24 x 7 Suicide Call Back Service is a nationwide service that provides professional telephone and online counselling to people who are affected by suicide.

24 x 7 telephone service providing information, advice, support and intervention for people in crises and needing urgent help. Types of crises addressed by the service include child protection concerns, family and domestic violence, suicidal ideation and homelessness. Crisis Care Unit assists callers experiencing homelessness by providing information and advice. In exceptional and unforeseen circumstances, support is provided for callers to access short-term crisis accommodation.

Mental Health Online provides comprehensive and effective online services and programs free of charge. If you’re experiencing mental distress, their services can help you understand and address your needs through self-assessment, self-help and, if you choose, online professional support.

National Domestic Violence Helpline

24 x 7 confidential information, counselling and support service for people impacted by sexual assault, domestic or family violence and abuse.

Rurallink

Hours: 4.30pm – 8:30am Monday to Friday and 24 hours Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. During business hours you will be connected to your local community mental health clinic.

Rurallink is a specialist after hours mental health telephone service for people in rural communities of Western Australia. Rurallink gives easy telephone access to experienced community mental health staff, with a focus on supporting people with mental health issues. It is a confidential service that meets the needs of the community and delivering continuous care and support where needed. The service provides a single point of contact providing information, advice, assessment, and where required, referrals to other mental health services.

Samaritans Support Line

The Samaritans provide 24 x 7 telephone access to suicidal and despairing people in Western Australia. Call if you are going through a crisis, worried about something, feel upset or confused, or you just want to talk to someone.

Translating & Interpreting Service (TIS)

If you need an interpreter to help speak with any of the above services, please call TIS National to access immediate telephone interpreters. This is a 24 x 7 telephone service providing interpreting services to people who do not speak English and to agencies and businesses that need to communicate with their non-English speaking clients.
